Hello everyone. Sorry I've been away from Deviantart for so long. Life gets crazy then and again. So I will quickly update you all. I'm completely done with my registered nursing (RN) program perquisites. This summer I was excepted to the certified nursing assistant  (CNA) program at college. Once I have that, I'm heading to Columbia, South Carolina to see my best friend! Oh and study for my TEAS (Test of essential academic skills) exam that is coming up on October 22nd, 2010. Wish me luck!

Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

So my graduation is Thursday, June 18th, 2009. My graduation party is Saturday, June 20th, 2009. Then around, hopefully June 30th, 2009, I’ll be on my way to the East Coast to see my best friend (who is a male), that I haven’t seen in two years. Maybe if I’m lucky I’ll be down there for a month, come home, work for the rest of the summer. Fall quarter at college, anatomy and physiology (A and P), and working out at the gym. Try to due with family, sickness, death, stress, not sleeping, and being uncomfortably lonely! Trying not to lose mind. Working toward entering into the Nursing Program for my RN (registered nurse), which would be second degree and career of choice

Official plans for the Summer:
Job
Not losing mind
Heal my heart/my head
Doing some more volunteer work
Spending time with grandparents
Seeing best friend
Maybe fall in love/have a relationship

Have a great spring/summer everyone,
Laura

Well I'm finally done with my AA in Arts and Science. It took me forever, but I've graduated . I've also just joined Phi Theta Kappa, my school honor society, and I'm graduating with the highest level of honors. My GPA is around 3.9. I've working really hard to get where I am today!

I think I'll fill you in, so you can understand my excitement! When I was 17 years old I started the Running Start program that is offered by the State of Washington. I never graduated from my high school or received a high school diploma or a GED. I also took at least a year off from college in total, due to problems with classes and professors. When I first entered the Running Start program, I attended Green River Community College in Auburn, WA. I hated it there, parking was awful, so were the professors, and I only took one class. After that I transferred to Bellevue Community College (BCC) in Bellevue, WA, which is an hour drive from my house one way. I loved it there so much, I'm going to finish my perquisites for there Nursing Program and enter there Associate Register Nurse (RN) Program. The BCC campus is beautiful, we have a six story, fairly new parking garage, a brand new math and sciences building that will be open to students Spring Quarter, 2009, the campus is gorgeous, and we have some great professors. BCC really feels like home to me and I love it there.

This Winter Quarter was extremely hard for me! I am a total night owl, I stay up really late watching Sex and City and my personal favorite, The Golden Girls! This Winter Quarter, my classes started around 10:30 a.m. Now that may not seem really early to you, but just keep in mind I live an hour away, and it takes about 30 min to find parking! So, I'd get up around 8:00 a.m. every morning, where my body was use to going to bed at 2:30 a.m. in the morning. I'm really proud of myself for getting up so early and not missing a single day of class. Even though are winter season here in Washington State was crazy, we received tons of snow and freezing cold weather. BCC is really close to Seattle, WA, so there closer to the water, however, I live in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, and we just got dumped on. I also live at around 600ft or around 182.88 Meters. So because were at a higher altitude and much farther away from any large bodies of water, we received some real winter weather, that had to a bit crazy to drive to school this quarter. So I'm really happy I didn't have any problems.

This Winter Quarter I took English 201, Math 130, which is statistics, and CMST 280, which was my Intercultural Communication class. I just checked my grades on-line, and I received a 4.0 (A) in both my English 201 and Math 130. I'm now just waiting on my CMST 280, which should also be a 4.0. I worked so hard, I had to social life this entire quarter, and I barely had the time to watch TV.

Well, thanks for read guys and the support,
Laura
